How did you participate with others and how did you contribute to your team?
I participated well because I contributed by writing the meanings and examples for each wall and assigning roles for each person in my group to complete. Next time I will not joke around with friends and try to keep and on track, including my friends and I.
Bibliography - Well

How did you cope with team challenges and how did you relate to others?
It was challenging when certain people in my group were away which made doing the tasks a bit difficult. Other people would not listen and get off track. I coped with the challenges by reminding them of the deadlines and making them sit in silence =). I worked okay with others because everyone would do their jobs but weren't paying attention. Next time I will maybe choose other people to work among.

Mindfulness and Body Clues - Health

In Health, we are given questions to answer after we have finished a topic and this weeks topic was Mindfulness and Body Clues. - Extention Task

Lo: Communicate what I have learned and how I will apply this to the Business and Enterprise Kete.

What did I learn about?

I learned about the importance of being mindful and body clues ( how can you tell a person feeling by there body language). Being mindful taught me the value to connect with someone and to maintain that quality relationship in a positive way through, being non-judgemental, paying attention to them and to show genuine interest. Being aware of body clues taught me to assume if a person is angry or happy through there body language. It recognizes that if you were to speak to them, you do it in a way which was not hurtful or rude because you could read their body language.

Was there anything I felt difficult to understand? Why?
Nope.

When talking to a classmate how did you know what they were feeling?
When communicating with my classmate I noticed they were smiling a lot and had soft eyes and her posture was straight. I could tell they were feeling happy or excited because of there body language.

How can I apply my new knowledge to the Business kete? ( Mindfulness )
During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be able to be mindful of me and my peers. I will do this by showing interest in what they may be speaking about, noticing verbal and non-verbal messages, being non-judgemental & attempting to connect with them.

How can I apply my new knowledge to the Business and Enterprise Kete?
( Body Clues )
During the Business and Enterprise kete, I will be able to distinguish body clues and I will do this by using the information I am learning now to be able to understand peoples body clues and approach them in an appropriate manner.

What did you learn about?
I learned about conflict styles and how to reduce them.

When discussing conflict styles what did you notice about yourself?
When I am faced with conflict from parents I am often Passive. However when with friends and teachers I am often between passive and assertive.

How can you reduce conflict during the Business & Enterprise Kete? Give an Example?
During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be able to reduce conflict by paying attention to what the person is saying an don't interrupt,
Speak slowly, carefully and with a calm voice,
Wait until they have stopped speaking and then make a comment,
Respect their opinions,
Pay attention to your non - verbal communication - it should match your verbal communication.
Eg:  If I don't agree with my teammate's opinion, we agree to disagree.

Give an example of when you might need to keep calm during Business & Enterprise Kete?
During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be able to be CALM in several situations for example if my teammates get into an argument I will be able to resolve the situation and carry on. Also, I will be able to reduce conflict in an appropriate way without hurting anyone's feeling.

Health - Business Studies - Resilience

What did I learn about?
I learned what a deeper meaning of resilience is and how to show it. I also learned why it is important to show it in a business environment and how to cope with change.

My favorite saying connected to resilience is?
" You should never give up. No matter how hard the situation is, always believe that something beautiful is going to happen".
 - Unknown.

Was there anything I felt difficult to understand? Why?
None.

How did I relate to the video " Who Moved My Cheese"?
The video " Who moved my cheese " is about trying to confront change in a positive manner and move on even though conditions were difficult. This video was about finding the cheese through a maze. After all the cheese had finished some characters kept going to find new cheese and encouraged themselves to find the cheese while one character stayed behind and sobbed. ( I think he was in the wrong mindset).

How can I apply your new knowledge to the Business Kete?
During the Business and Enterprise Kete, I will be prepared to confront change and maintain my stress in a positive manner.

 I will do this by?
By accepting everyone's idea's and discussing stuff among them to prevent arguing and disagreement and of course remaining calm.
