Home Economics - Reflection Questions.

What were your thoughts prior to eating?
I was not looking forward to it as much as hoped.

Did those thoughts change once you have sampled it?
Yes, because instead of following the recipe we added extra spices to make it more pleasing. The foods Miss Taylor chose for us didn't sound good at first but after we cooked it, it was really yummy. 

Why is it good to have one vegetarian dish per week in your diet?
It's because having one vegetarian dish per week cleans your food pallet and it healthy for you as you may know and helps lose weight.

Meat supplies us with protein and iron give an example of a vegetable that offers this as well?


Iron
1. Greens eg: Broccoli, Spinach & Silverbeet.
2. Nuts and Seeds.
3. Grains eg: Whole Wheat, Brown Rice.
4. Dried Fruit.

Protein
1. Greens eg: Kale, Spinach, Mushrooms, Brussel Sprouts, Artichokes.
2. Peas
3. Corn 
4. Asparagus.
