In Esol class Ms Briggs assigned us an assessment on writing a short story ( under 150 words ) on scary legends and myths from our country. This is mine and my scary story is about the period ghost ( It's more interesting than it sounds ).
I like how you linked possible cultural morals or parental concerns with the telling of this myth to young women. Many cultures have similar myths with moral messages so it this was a longer assignment, your next step would be to compare this myth with others that have a similar underlying message.
