In Business and Enterprise, we are learning about the history of money ( Coins, Paper Money or Bartering ). In this post, I am going to write about 3 forms of money one form ancient history, one from the 20th century and 21st century.
The Three Forms :
Something that I think will pop up in the future is thumb recognition which then you can pay for something. It might be just like paywave but with your thumb.

ReplyDeleteYou are very right, the Florin, although safer than some other forms of money, was hard to transport, especially if you were super rich (can you imagine the Kardashian fortune... in florins?). In fact, Italy was one of the first countries in the world to have the first instance of banks, where people would store their money (for a fee of course) and could make withdrawals. One of the major banking families was the Medici family, who are an immensely fascinating bunch of people.
I also find your idea of thumb recognition very interesting! As we are all supposed to have different prints this sounds like it could work, but if you have ever seen some spy movies... i wonder how easy it would really be to take a fingerprint mould of someone's thumb... and steal all of their money! (Actually let's do this and steal all of Mr Heath's money!)

DeleteI can't imagine how many truck loads of florins they would have
(Kardashians). That would be the only downfall to the thumb recognition, people stealing your thumb print. I don't think Mr. Heath would like being bankrupt but let's do it.😂😂😂
