National Party - Social Studies.

The National Party is a form of government in New Zealand. The leader of the party is Simon Goodfellow, Deputy is Paula Bennett and the president is Peter Goodfellow. Overall they have 55 MP's in the government. The National party was discovered on May 13 and 14th on 1936. Their values include:

  • Loyalty to our country, its democratic principles, and our Sovereign as Head of State
  • National and personal security
  • Equal citizenship and equal opportunity
  • Individual freedom and choice
  • Personal Responsibility
  • Competitive enterprise and reward for achievement
  • Limited government
  • Strong families and caring communities
  • Sustainable development of our environment
There Ideology:
Their main focuses are on
Conservation, Liberalism, Economical & Liberal Conservatism

National Goals:
  • To increase support first home buyers.
  • Young farming families able to buy land corp farms
  • Invest in the east coast future.
  • Invest in Whanganui velodrome
  • More PPPs to boost infrastructure spending.
