WHY DOES WIND EXIST?

Image result for sailing
Why does the wind exist?
Wind exists because of the uneven heat of the earths surface.

What drives wind?
Wind is driven by the atmosphere's heat. Some parts of earth get direct rays from the sun. But in other parts of earth you get no sign of sun at all. Warm air weighs less than cold air and then the cold air replaces the warm air. Next the movements of wind starts.
List some of the good and bad effects of wind?
GOOD:
  • Wind helps us with growing plants and trees.
  • Wind also gives us electricity to light up our homes.
  • BAD
  • Sand tunes are very bad source of wind since they carry the sand and get into your eyes.
  • Tornado's are also a very bad source of wind because they can get very big and ruin homes, plants and trees.

  1. Fantastic blog post Nidhi. The different colours and types of font you use make sure that I always know what I'm learning from your post, and it's easy to stay interested in the topic. The great photos and gif help that too. How could you use what we learned in our experiment to help explain what drives the wind?
